Show-offs at Lubec; Installment 3

This is a continuation of our magnificent day on Lubec Ridge, June 1st.

The flower list we made came to 73 different flowering plants that we named!  A few of them are definitely the show-offs of the flower meadow:  Blue Camas, Prairiesmoke, Larkspur, Shooting Star, Penstemon and Indian Paintbrush.  I don't have any more great stories to tell, just that Lynn and I were wandering around in awe, wearing out our cameras, and sighing a lot.  We probably covered 2 miles the whole day.  Blue Camas:

Larkspur--we decided that this was really the "flower of the day" because of its abundance and size!
